Hi, i always read about minimum requirements for direct or alternate entry msn programs, but very few posts give the realistic numbers related to what is actually competitive...
1. Can anyone share gpa's and gre scores that will actually get you in?
2. If you also have a graduate professional degee, will they focus on your undergrad more, or your more recent grad work more?
3. Will a "bad streak" due to health problems affect you much, if you pulled it together once the health crisis resolved, and still got out with a good gpa?
Anyone who can give me insight here woukd be greatly appreciated! Im applying to a school in north carolina (ecu) if it matters...

1. They say C's or above, but usually it's actually A's + B's in pre-reqs (they don't care so much about your overall gpa). GRE scores generally need to break 1000.
2. They will probably focus more on your graduate professional degree, but even more so your pre-reqs.
3. I don't think they will care about a "bad streak". Again I see them look at the big picture a lot and not focus too much on bad streaks or single classes unless they are pre-reqs.
I'm not in NC, so obviously can't say this is the case for sure. But that's the trend I saw when friends and I were applying to schools.
