GPC FALL 2012

Who's applied to GPC for the fall?

Featured Replies

Thanks! My girlfriend made a 72 or 73 yet her GPA was a 2.7!!! Iam going to do the best I can with the Teas. :) do you have to maintain a B or C in the program?

If you make below a 75% on anything test or quiz it is considered failing for GPC's nursing program.

Sorry for the wayyyyy late response.

Don't worry, neither are any of my classes. Do you have the mock sight?
I don't know what the mock site is.
I don't know what the mock site is.

Alright, here's how you get it:

You may have received an email from Jeanette Crawford around the end of July asking if you would like access to the mock site in iCollege. If so, reply to it and it will tell you to send her your iCollege user ID. Once she has added you, she will reply and let you know that you have access.

If you did not receive the email, her email address is [email protected]. They encourage us to use our webmail system, but if you dont have one set up yet, try to. Most likely if you dont have your email set up, you dont have iCollege either. That will be something you would have to go to the GPC website to have set up.

At any rate, once you log in to iCollege, there is the "Mock College-wide" page set up and inside is the reading assignment for our first test (9/4), the list for our medical terminology test, some helpful powerpoints and other sites, along with some items from the boot camp. There is a tenative calendar/schedule, but of course everything has not been tweaked yet. If you did not attend orientation, you have to have your medical paperwork turned in and an info sheet advising where you stay/ if you need Marta, so that they can assign you your clinical site.

I hope that this helps.

Hello All:

For those that have iCollege, someone was nice enough to tell us that Amazon has Nursing Central for $120.

Thank you sooooo much!

I read all over that part in the email.

@keep... Thx for the reply. Have you seen the simulation lab at Dunwoody? If so, where is it???

Hi yes I've had sim lab several times at Dunwoody. Have another to go to on the 22nd of this month. I don't know the exact address but u can google it.

Cool, I meant like where is it on the campus? Dunwoody is my primary campus. I went to the boot camp and was told that there was a simulation lab at Dunwoody and now I'm excited to see it. Lol!!!

Oh ok I'm sorry about that. You know I'm always at the clarkston campus and I'm not familiar with the dunwoody campus at all. I just know I drive around to the back of the campus and it's by the lunch room on the 1st floor.

Cool!! Thx keep!

Never been to Dunwoody, but the online map says ND building. I hope to get to drive by it before class starts.
