I will be starting GPC Fall 09 too!

I have ordered all the books, but nothing else....the books are expensive! I was able to get most of mine from amazon or ebay!

What are you going to do this summer to get ready??? I just took my last final - so now I feel that I'm a REAL nursing student! Exciting and scary at the same time!

You might want to change the tread title to students accepted to GPC fall 09 - that way someone searching might find it better and not have to weed through all the other threads about getting in, etc. :specs:

Hello! I just wanted to congratulate you on getting accepted into the GPC Nursing Program. I graduated from the program in 2007, so it can be done (I also did it while being employed part time and with two children). Good luck on this exciting endeavor!

Thanks for the support. Does GPC help you find part-time work at a hospital, or are you on your own looking for work around class schedules?

I will be starting the RN program at GPC this fall too. I have ordered my books but not my uniforms and have no completed my CPR training yet either. Does anyone know what our schedule for the first semester will be like? I have no idea what to expect, and it is hard to plan.

Congratulations and good luck!

Can anyone tell me if there are nursing courses offered at the Dunwoody campus or are they all in Clarkston? Thanks.

I think that everything is in Clarkston....

I asked about the fall schedule - was told to plan for M-F 8-5pm everyday..... ick

I just graduated from GPC in May 2009...... and the third semester you will be doing mother/baby and pediatrics and I took both of those classes at the Dunwoody location. I am not sure if anything has changed.

Hope this helps!!!

I am starting the nursing program in the fall and was wondering if anybody has an idea what our schedule will be like.

You can actually register now....classes are TWTH from 9-3 and this does nt include clinicals or lab check off time....

How are you. I am applying for the Fall 10 class and I was wondering if you could tell me what classes you had completed when you were accepted to the program? Thank You!
