Got a job interview but they didnt ask to sign Consent form for Background check.

Hello, I got a job interview from where I applied my application online and my interview said he would give me a call back after background check is done. But He Didnt give me any paper to sign a consent for background check. So,Since there is no consent paper ,does it mean that i should have no hope in getting a job there.Plz ..tell me your thoughts. Thanks!!

Are you sure you never 'checked' yes for background check on the online application? The hospital I work for gets consent on the application.

In my experience, most applications either include a box to check consenting to the background check, or just say somewhere in the fine print that, by submitting the application, you are giving consent for the check.

HR emailed me a form I had to fax back
