I'll be starting Micro Jan. 2nd & I'm trying to get a bit of a head start. Does anyone know of any micro sites that can't be left unseen?!
Thanks!:Santa3:

Well, I just finished microbiology and this site was very useful. There is also a microbe wikopedia. But, there really aren't very many good sites. Your textbooks website will probably be a very valuable tool. (Or at least mine mine was).
Hope this helps :) Good luck!

Just finished micro. I didn't find a lot of good sites. By the end when I had specific questions I just typed key words into google or yahoo and looked over the results (e.g. Serratia AND "Esculin-Iron Agar").
We were very lucky in that our professor loves micro and really loves teaching, so we could send him an e-mail question, even on Sunday afternoon, and we usually had a reply within an hour.
Good luck. If you have a good prof, use him! I found micro hard work, but really interesting.

www. mhhe.com/nester4 was the website attached to the book I used. You don't need a username or anything like that. It has flashcards, quizes, interactive type stuff, etc. It was a good review for my exams. Good luck!

The specific site is http://mhhe.com/nester4. I'm also told there is
ClassWare: from the latest book edition. I just tried to log on and it worked so I'm not sure why you weren't able to pull it up.
