Welcome to the NC Forum :) I don't have any specific information to offer about Charlotte, but there have been several threads posted recently on this subject. Please do a search and you may find the information you need.

Hey, I just moved from the Indian Trail area to Memphis for Accelerated BSN. In fact I have a nice starter house with a good sized yard and pool for sale, It is priced right. Got any Q's about the area just ask me.

your pay is going to be a bit lower in the carolinas. But the Cost of living is also less that Long Island. You probably had that figured out though. I've never worked anywhere excpt the piedmont, Eastern NC region so I can't help you out there.
