Going crazy waiting

I am going crZY...I applied at 2 schools. I am supposed to hear from the community college...this week

But the ultimate school i want to go to, well I need to wait until march . It was originally 2/15 but since there was so many applicants, well we have to wait until March sometime....

So here I am...waiting:uhoh3:

I know how you feel!!! I am waiting too. The school I applied to is a first-come, first-served enrollment, and it looks pretty good that I'm in, but the admissions team doesn't meet again until March, so I feel like I'm going to go insane waiting on that letter!!!!! :selfbonk: It's hard to keep from obsessing!

I am curious how do they do a first come first serve enrolment? do they have a specific day and time and people camp out to bring in application? If they did that here it would be a mad house of applicants

It's first-come first served with admissions criteria on a rolling basis. They stop accepting applications once they have enough to fill the class (which does happen pretty quickly from what I'm told). I think people aren't knocking down the doors trying to get in because it's very expensive ($8750 per semester tuition), and we have several CC's in the area. I'm not even looking forward to what my grand total loans will be at graduation :uhoh3: , but it's a very good program so I'm concentrating on that. Also, the local CC's have on avg a 2 year waitlist and I personally did not want to wait that long.

Oh ok I see I thought it was for a CC the tuition thing would limit the applicants here too. But I agree with you I would pay it too rofl. At my school they take strictly on GPA which is why I chose here we also have waits at our other schools 6 semester wait at the one closest to me. So I figure if I can pull the grades I won't have to wait thankfully.

I know what you mean about waiting. At least it's only til March!

My letters aren't sent out til mid-late April. *dies* I don't know how I'm going to make it through this.
