I just finished my exams yesterday and will graduate next week. . How soon after you graduated did you take the Nclex.
Also how did you study?
What books did you use?
Hurst or Kaplan. Or none
For those that just took your exams , how is the test format is it like Kaplan or more like Saunders??

Graduated, then took a week long cruise (brought my books to review, but it never happened), got home from the cruise on Monday and took the Hurst review three day seminar on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I studied for 3 1/2 weeks using Hurst (watched all the videos, completed the 6 exams, my scores ranged from I believe 91-107, used kaplan's qtrainers 1-6 and used the PDA book (did not look at the case studies). My program prepared me sufficiently but I had my dream job at stake so I over prepared in my opinion. Passed in 75 in under an hour. I think these resources definitely helped my confidence going into the exam. Good luck!

I took my nclex almost 4 months later but, I gotten my att about a month after graduation.
In my opinion, I looked at the Kaplan strategies book and did the practice exam in the back of the book, and Kaplan looks the most like nclex.
I did Saunders, ATI, and Exam Cram and nclex 3000. Kaplan looks more like nclex out of all the study material I did.
I read over 2 subjects that I thought that I was weak in. Other than that, do practice questions and read tbe rationales more than anything. Good Luck

I recommend going over your weak areas first and then expanding from there. Also, go over lots of practice questions. I usually did about 100 questions a day and then took some days off. I took NCLEX two months after graduation. The first month I just enjoyed life and celebrated graduation. I studied for about a month before taking the test and passed in 75 questions.
I used Pearson's Reviews and Rationales book. Since that book covers every topic on NCLEX, it was really the only thing that I studied with and it worked really well for me. I found the NCLEX to be exactly like the questions in that book which would make sense since it's a Pearson book. :) Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great! Congrats on graduating!

I took some time off after graduation not too long about two weeks to relax and enjoy my accomplishment. I personally felt Kaplan was the closest to the nclex exam. I used their 5 week study program and passed in 75 Questions. I also used ati with kaplan because it was already included in my schools tuition. But Kaplan is what prepared me personally for the nclex. I did have the saunders book and looked over that a few times mostly just did the practice test and looked up stuff I felt i needed more information on. You have to find what method works best for you everyone is different and learns through different mediums.
