I recently discovered that hospital nursing is NOT for me, and I would prefer to do something more like office or clinic nursing. I have 4 months OB nurse experience and have applied into several office and clinic positions.
One in particular, at an OB office, I am extremely interested in for several reasons. I have already had an interview with the nurse manager, and am supposed to be being contacted soon for a meeting with the doctor who started the practice. I know it will be another interview. I hate interviews because I feel like it's a competition that I usually never win. My OB position, I knew the hiring manager, which is why I think I got the position. Every other position, I cannot seem to get passed the last interview.
I really want and could almost say NEED this position. Any advice on how to "WOW" the doctor or tips for meeting with doctors?
