Wow 19, you're still plenty young. good for you on deciding your goals early. If you're not sure completely, try volunteering at a hospital and see what nurses do. Work and school can get really busy. If you're just working just because for personal expenses or working due to helping your family financially is a different story. If you need to quit then do so. I have heard of people who work and go to school but are able to manage with very good grades. Some people can some can't. I can see how much time studying takes up cause I've been through it. your free time is spent reading and doing extra research on material. you seem determined to achieve your goal ,don't lose sight of it. Good luck to you

Hi everyone! I'm new to this.
I am getting really overwhelmed and discouraged about becoming a nurse. I genuinely want to be able to do this because I love science and want to save lives, but I always feel that this probably is not for me. I am only 19, and am almost finished with my pre-reqs( Yay!) But I have been feeling over worked balancing work and school. I am planning on quitting my job, quitting social media (yea, I've been slacking) to put all my focus on this. I really need some encouragement. Anyone else feeling or felt like this?
