I’ve been an LPN for almost 4 years. I’ve really liked it so far but I don’t see myself doing it until retirement. I’ve been thinking about getting my CST (surgical tech cert), done some research and I’m more excited than when I was in LPN school. Any thoughts/opinions/stories I’m open to anybody’s experiences. I honestly think this is going to be a great switch

Why not? As long as it doesn't cause undue financial burden, as it could be a pay cut. Also, vet the school/program well; I've heard about some fly-by-night "technical schools" that will leave you in debt without a viable education...

And be aware of your local job market. Nice to obtain qualifications, but not so much if one can’t use those new qualifications to get a job.
