Georgetown Online FNP program

I am considering taking the FNP online program of Georgetown University. Any one of you have any experiences with this school? Thanks!

I am currently in the second semester of the FNP program (full time) at Georgetown and love it! It's an intense program but so far the instructors have been very supportive. The cost is high but I feel like it's well worth the expense.

Cajun, do you work? May I ask your GPA?. Congrats, you will excel, I'm just worried about the cost, but I know it's worth it.

that's good CajunRN1. unfortunately, they don't offer the program for NC residents. I'm going for either Duke or UNC now. and i have to take the GRE.:bluecry1:

Thanks! I had to stop working because it's really time consuming and intense but they do offer part time enrollment and I have several friends in the part time program who are able to work. My GPA was 3.8. The cost is substantial and I've had to rely on student loans to help but so far I feel the cost is well worth it. I have a friend in another FNP program and she is amazed at the things they do for us at Georgetown. Hope this helps :)

I'm sorry they don't offer the program for you yet :( I wish I could offer some advice for the other programs you are looking at or the GRE. Study and do your best! I wish you luck in your future endeavors

It seems to be a good program, I know 2 students who attend the program.

They seem to like it and are doing well. It is expensive though. One of the students works fulltime 12 hours shifts /weekends only. The other works 2 days a week . Both are ICU nurses.
