I took general medical chemistry online through une. I recommend it! One of the current students told me it was enough to prepare her

ok great thanks!! I wanted to make sure the une chemistry is the correct one to take but I'm having a hard time hearing back from the admission's director.

Have decisions for all the seats been made? I had started my application but will hold out until the next round if they are filled for the sake of saving time and application fees. Thanks in advance!

i recently applied. Deadline is January 15

No, only the initial round of applications. Early admission's deadline was sept 1st. It sounded like they will offer between 40-45 spots. I think 30 people interviewed this fall. You have to take into account people that decide to go to other programs and people that were not offered admission. Good luck!

i doubt they would keep the application open if they weren't still accepting people

My roommate is applying to this program (I'm going the FNP route) she's working on her application now - any tips on making your application stand out? Thanks :)

I was saying no to the question "have they made decisions for all the spots". No they have not. They have 2 rounds of applications. The early admission has past, and now there is the second round due January 15th. I'm sure there are still lots of spots open. Good luck to everyone.

Hello there and congrats on your acceptance! I have an interview next month and was wondering if you could shed some light on how your interview went. Any clinical questions or just a get to know you type interview ?

Any info would be super helpful! Thanks and congrats again :)

Wasn't bad. It was a little strange though, you only got 15 minutes to interview with faculty then another 15 to interview with students. By the time you finish with formalities the interview is over. Not any clinical questions. Just had me describe the environment I work in then normal nursing interview questions: tell me a time when you messed up and what you did to fix it; time you had a conflict with an employee or patient. That kind of stuff. I really didn't think there was enough time to really find out my clinical knowledge. It was like they had pre determined who they were going to pick and just wanted to make sure you weren't crazy lol.

Hopefully that helps.

Thanks for taking the time out to give me the breakdown I really appreciate it :) This info will help me as I prepare. Good luck in Miami  I'm sure it'll be a great experience and that you'll enjoy the sun!

Did anyone else get into the program? I'm trying to find a good contact person to ask about registration dates and an academic calendar. Has anyone else heard anything? I've paid my deposit, and now we just wait to hear from them....Just trying to figure out when to give my notice.
