I personally wouldn't do it an line. There is so much I want to be able to ask & get answers from the prof. w/o having to wait for e-mail. They also have off the book education to teach in person!

I definitely would not take it online. I think it would be very difficult to pass because there is a lot of information and can be a very difficult class.

i disagree with the prior posters (sorry dood's) but i have had pppl in my school go and take online and do just awesome. you have to judge what type of tester and that that you are, but it is more than possible to do. the only thing i would conisder is- have you done it before? i surely wouldnt start in nsg school doing that, you cannot chance anything like that now. ya know? 2 fails and you are out, i wouldnt make the odds of failing out any higher than alread is.

Most instructors in my school told us, there is MORE work, HARDER tests and its more difficult in general, no face to face and they dont usually have time to make time to meet with an online student.

so i think you need to judge yourself. gl in whatever you decide!

and gl in nsg school!

Thank you for the suggestions. I took many on line classes while getting my BA, so I think I will try A&P online. I think if I can pass this class I can pass it online.

One question though....why does everyone say that A&P is so hard? Isn't it a lot of memorization? Is it hard like Gen. Chem.? Chemistry was hard for me concept wise, I just don't see A&P being a difficult class, time consuming yes, but not hard so to speak. Am I wrong?

I think i'd consider it difficult if you want to learn the material, retain it & utilize it in the future, which imho one does, to be an effective nurse. Or, it's not so difficult if you want to just memorize for a good grade, then remember much, much less of it for the future,or to be able to apply it.! sue

General AP is mostly memorization; however, advanced AP is mostly concepts and understanding of the different body systems.
