Just got accepted into the evening program, is there anyone here going through or who has been through the evening program? Any tips, I'm scared since I'll be working and going to school.

I'm currently in block 2 in the evening program. What questions do you have?

When you get assigned clinical do they try to work with your schedule? I saw on my schedule that there are a lot of Saturday sessions, I was counting on Saturday and Sunday being my clinical days.

Do you work full-time, is so how do you balance?

What was most difficult during block 1?

Thanks for responding!

For my cohort, we got to choose our clinicals for block 1. You only have 4 clinicals. The other Saturdays are preclinical lab, which prep you for clinicals. All are mandatory. Block 2 is a different story lol

I do not work full time, but 98% of my class do. They manage! You definitely have to make a choice to study when you'd rather do other things.

The hardest thing for me was learning all the signs and symptoms of the different electrolyte imbalances. You definitely need to know it, because they expect you to already have that knowledge in block 2.

Hope this helps!
