Hello residents of allnurses.com,
I'm Nathan Visser, a student of Game design and development at the "Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht" in Holland, and i need your help.
Our current game is one aimed at you, student nurses, we want to make a game that helps you in your study in some way.
I'd like to ask student nurses if there's anything that you'r having an especially hard time with?, say anatomy for example, something that you could learn though play.
From graduated nurses i'd like to ask: Is there anything, skill or knowledge, you'f learned in your work that you wish they had learned you beforehand?
I'd like to stress that this is for study only, no profit will be made from the game whatsoever, this is not ment as advertising, it is non-commercial.
Other things i'm interested in are things like:
Do you play any videogames?
If you do, what kind of?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Medical Math would be a fun game. Every nursing student must understand how to provide the correct dosage based on the physician's orders. Making a game out of it could be fun.
Pharmacology: You could make a game out of the info that a nurse needs to know about pharmacology. Provide the right medication or dose and you go forward; give the wrong dose, med and you go backwards.
There is so much that nurses need to know and most of us just memorize it. It would be fun to have some kind of game to test our skills/knowledge.

I'm also going to opt for the Medical Math! That'd be a lot of help for us (especially those who are starting out and struggle a bit as I do), and of course, a lot of fun too!
Thank you both for your help, it's greatly appreciated :)
