Future surgical tech

I am in a federal grant for displaced workers to go back to school and learn a new career and I have decided I am interested in this field. However I am stumbling on one portion of the paperwork and hopefully I can find a few kind and willing Surg Techs on here to help me. I have to interview 3 Surg Techs and have no clue how to get in touch with any to fill them out. I have asked my advisor and she said she would help but she was supposed to do it a week ago this past Wednesday and I still have not her from her and my paperwork is due on this coming Monday. I would deeply appreciate it if some techs could spare some time to answer the interview questions.

Thanks for any help,

James

Hi James,

This is a nursing site, so you may not have much luck finding three surgical techs to interview. Put your eggs in some other baskets, just in case.

Good luck to you!

There are some Facebook ST groups, including one linked to the Association of Surgical Technologists (which is probably another resource you can try). Other than that, have you tried contacting local hospitals or surgical centers to see if they can connect you with willing STs?
