FSW Spring 2018

It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..

I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.

What campus are you planning on applying to?

What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?

I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!

So does anyone know if the info we receive tmrw will allow us to register for classes?

Yes everything will be included tomorrow

Is it insane to think I can still work while dong the traditional schedule

No, i think you can you'll just have to manage your time wisely. Is your job flexible to the point that you can call off or have someone cover your shift if you need more time to study for school?

Not really just an after school elementary program... but I know ppl that will maintain full time jobs!

No it's not insane. If the schedules themselves don't interfere then you can do it. For what its worth I plan to take care of my baby (now 3 months old) during the day and get school work done in the evening when my wife get home from work. I'm hoping I will have little moments during the day to get some studying in but I know sometimes that won't be the case. I realize it's not the same situation that you are asking about but I wanted to offer encouragement nonetheless. As Walk823 said, time management will be key.

Ya, I just need to make sure I get a clinical rotation spot on Saturday because Sunday is no bueno for me. I was told that we choose either Saturday or Sunday at the point of registering.

I'm heard for traditional it's 3 days a week plus an online pharmacology class. I'm too excited I seriously thought it was 5 days a week 9:30-5...
