FSW spring 2017

Anybody applying for the nursing program at FSW for the spring in 2017? I plan to take my TEAS sometime August or September, does anyone know what the passing score is? And have you finished all your prerequisites and general ed? The only prereqs I have left to do is A&P2, nutrition, and micro. But still have all the general eds left to do. But you don't have to have all the general eds finished before applying right? Sorry, I'm new at this.

got it...is just we are so far behind:sarcastic:

Just called Hamilton's and she told me that if we buy the uniforms through them, one set(top and pants) is about $50-60. Embroidery is $6 when you buy through them. If you have scrubs or buy elsewhere, embroidery is $10.

I got my uniform top and bottoms for a total of $33 and my purple polo for $20. I also got a lab coat for $36 today. They give 20% off to FSW students. Hope that helps anyone who's curious.

Thanks!!! Ikauffman12 :) I live in Fort Myers but I did not get in to my first choice but that's okay. And it's good to see the conversations from other classmates. I can't wait to meet our whole nursing family! lol. So much stuff to try and sort through now

Hi guys!

Ive been anonymously stalking this page to make sure I was as up to date on everything as you guys were.... so,

I was accepted at the Charlotte campus and can't wait to meet everyone!! Congrats again :)

Hey nossa100, I went to a place called Collier CPR I found it though the AHA website, you can type in your zip code and you'll get places near you that have classes :)

Are these prices embroidered? Was the purple polo from the bookstore or did they have it at Hamilton's too?

They have the polo's at hamilton's but you have to send them to get embroidered along with the scrubs. I got lucky with my polo because she already had it embroidered in my size along with the lab coat which I got to take home. and yes, my total for the top and bottom scrubs embroidered came out to $33

By the way does anyone know how all the immunizations work? Do we print off stuff and bring it to our doctor...orrr? I'm not really sure

I believe we're supposed to scan them and upload them onto the castlebranch website once we purchased the Compliance Tracker. I'm not sure though I would call and ask them.

Yep! This is exactly how it works! You can also fax them in if you don't have a scanner... They give you face sheets that can be printed and sent with each individual document.

Brownie10909 - if you mean how do you go about getting the immunizations, if you have a primary care doctor already then that would be the best option ( print your list of requirements and bring it in). That way you can have titers drawn to see what you need. The health department can also do all of them. Publix, CVS, and Walgreens also do vaccines, but I don't think they draw titers so this won't be a good option unless you know what you need already. Ikauffman told me that Millenenium does a student physical for $35 and they also do the PPD skin test. :D
