FSW Fall 2015

Speaking of financial aid, did anyone apply for the scholarship fund and get a response? I applied in April before the deadline but I haven't heard anything.

Oh wow. Good thing we all are already in. I hope they reply to us soon. The suspense is just overwhelming.

I asked the "heads" today about the finger print incomplete on the website. Told her that Daon replied they sent in the info on wednesday. She said that once the deadline passes (today) ppl who did not registar will be dropped and the open seats will be given to alternates. So i asked if we are waiting on another committee meeting or if i came negitive with everything (passed all requirments) am i good? She said yes. They will meet starting tomorrow to look through each persons profile, once they look and confirm you are good, they will send us an email to start watching for the acceptance packet in yhe mail (postal) that will have all our info in regards to Physical, CPR, scrubs, etc. However, she does not expect any of us to get that email for a week to two weeks (thats he goal she said). But again, if you passed all 3 things, then you are good! We made it!!!

Yay!! I was negative on both so I'm good :) also the AA thing Doesent sound like its bad, but I guess if you want to do nursing you won't get financial aid because of the prereqs and SAP requirements.

Lol, tori. I want the official letter, too. But it doesnt matter much since we are in if everything was fine with drug test and fingerprints.

Exactly!! But its not the same to hear the words considered vs officially a nursing student at FSW. Lol.

Plus, some of us... raises hand, likes to have complete control of everything and if it were to me, I would register for CPR and all medical forms completed already. It stresses me out to have things pending even if its not in my control. Lmao

I took mine in the afternoon and in the next morning my results were in.

I dont think it matters if you were or not. Once we are officially accepted then we will be changed to nursing degree regardless so this doesnt affect us.

You'll probably have your drug screen results tomorrow morning. I did mine at 4:30 pm last Tuesday and had the results by 8:00am the next day.
