FSW Fall 2015

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

    Im taking it may 13th too. We should all get together study. I am emailing them now so I can ease my mind about how many seats available.

    Ok. So I got a response. There is 48 seats for full-time and 48 part-time at lee. Yay so that puts my mind more at ease.

    Oh and there is 24 seats at Charlotte.

    I also found out they are requiring statistics class instead of choosing between college algebra and statistics in the next application period in October. They also added another required pre-req class in natural sciences. Getting more strict. I hope I get in this semester or I might not get in next application period with those new requirements.

    Oh man! I have college algebra not statistics. I wonder what other science they are adding... Well I really hope I get in for the fall semester then. I'm in the same boat MamiLuv, it won't look good for the next application date if not.

    Ok, I asked if College Algebra was fine and they said starting in next May for the fall, they will require Statistics. For now I am safe to say, I will be good for next application period. The classes they are adding for the natural sciences are phy1020C, BSC1050C, BSC1051C or BSC2008C. I have the powerpoint file of the nursing orientation if you want to see. I can send through email if you want. Let me know in a message.

    Hey! I'm planning on applying to the nursing program in Collier for the Fall semester. I am sooooo nervous. I need to get it! Lol. I'll be taking the HESI next week and I've been studying everyday. Aiming for close to perfect! :D hehe But I wish you all luck!

    Oh and any tips for the HESI? I'd really appreciate it :)
