I finished up my prereqs during the summer. I had to take the graduate level patho class because I was afraid that the fall one would be offered only during the daytime, and I wouldn't be able to take it (I'm a teacher). It was very challenging, but I learned a lot! So now, with just work, I kind of feel like I'm on vacation! :) Are you taking patho now? What else are you taking? I'm also glad the HESI is over. It ended up being easier than I thought it would be.

I'm taking Nutrition on-line (it's easy & stuff I'm interested in) & Pathophysiology. The Patho class is during the day on M/W, so it's a good thing you went ahead and took it. I work full-time so I've had to adjust my work schedule, but I do like the class and getting to know the nursing building. Yes the HESI wasn't bad - I think I overstudied - but it was also a good refresher for me b/c it's been a while since I've taken those classes. Let me know if/when you hear anything from the nursing school about the spring and I'll do the same!!

I talked to someone at FSU today. He said that the committee is meeting this Friday, 10/1 (for the first time as far as he knows) and is supposed to make decisions at this meeting. He said that he expects we might hear something next week, most likely through the mail. There were 42 applicants - still planning on a class of 24. Good luck! Hopefully we only have to hang on one more week! Let me know when you hear something!

Wow. I thought about calling FSU this week to find out something... Now I'm nervous! Thanks for letting me know (: Hopefully next week we'll both have good news!

I have my first test in pathophysiology today - it's a LOT of info!! I don't know how you did the grad level class...

Just wanted to let you know I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!! Yea! If you don't already know if you are in, you can call tomorrow and talk to Ellyn or Brenda and they will let you know over the phone. Letters were supposed to be mailed out today, so hopefully we will know more details tomorrow! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail... I haven't looked at it (boyfriend called to tell me) but he said it has the Spring schedule and other info in there... Can't wait to look over it!!

Got mine today too! Looks pretty do-able to me! I'm very excited and anxious to get going - I'm sure you feel the same. A friend of mine who is in the 2-yr program warned me today about the expenses coming up in semester 1. One thing I want to check out is what kind of PDA is the best to have. Do you have any ideas? How do we do private emails on this forum anyway? It would be nice to be able to talk to you in person! :0 I know another girl who was accepted who was in my nutrition class at TCC - she's really nice. I think we're going to have a fantastic group!
