I was in an AS nursing progam and unfortunately did not pass nursing III. Someone had mentioned that I could possibly take the licensing exam for LPN does anyone know if this is true?
Thanks

Ask the nursing advisor at your school if you are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN to become an LPN, since your school would be the only source to definitively answer this question. Some, but not all, ADN programs are arranged so that students can take NCLEX-PN after the first year.
Also be aware that the NCLEX-PN is not 'easy'. Some people are misled and don't have any respect for this licensing exam until they fail it a few times.

Depends on where you are. It is becoming more common for the requirements to write to say "graduate of a practical nursing programme".
