Stars I hope you get all of the paperwork taken care of with as few headaches as possible

Ado I hope they can get the AC issues figured out

Tweety sounds like you have things well planned

Got another new case at work again, and had to work on the side project again too, so the whole morning was done in a rush. Got both things done before lunch. Though after lunch documents began to arrive again to review. Thankfully got through all of them before the end of the day and had time to work ahead a bit for today

After work was pretty quiet, stopped at the grocery store and exercised

Today have a coworker off, although at least no side project today. Nothing much going on after work, will do a few more things to get ready for the new cat but that's about it

Will be in the mid 80s again today, with rain in the afternoon and evening

Good morning!

Joe hope you have a good day.

It's 84 and "feels like 94". Because of the clouds supposed to not hit 90, but as always here "it's not the heat, it's the humidity" 😆. Where I live is in "extreme drought" although a small part the mid-west part of the country was dropped to "severe drought". Keep the rain coming.

Should be an uneventful day. I had two late days at work so need to straighten up a bit. Hope to make it to the gym later and meal prep, blah blah blah........

We are only "abnormally dry" right now, drought-wise but that's still pretty dry. There was a smattering of raindrops on my windshield when I left for work this morning, and some small potential for rain throughout the day but it is still projected to be 103 by mid afternoon.

Hello all!

After lunch I got a few groceries and then made the Mediterranean salad (and added feta cheese!) for tomorrow's memorial jam and potluck. Then I baked oatmeal cookies for dh. I usually make oatmeal-raisin, but he requested oatmeal-dried cherry cookies, so I obliged. :) I needed three cups of oats for the recipe but only had barely two cups. I increased the flour a little and they turned out pretty good, just not as full of oats as usual. Dh didn't complain!

Time to get some laundry going.

Yesterday my stick vacuum arrived! It was very nice to vacuum without a cord (it's a Ryobi, so uses exchangeable/rechargeable batteries), and it only weighs about eight pounds. My other vacuum cleaner was so clunky, difficult to maneuver, and weighed 13 lb, plus I had to watch the cord. So far (and I know, with further use, this could change) I like it, and deem it a definite improvement over the other!

Oh, and it was ONLY 107 when I drove to the grocery store. "But it's a DRY heat!" Hang in there, all, in the heat!

I hope you all have a good evening and weekend.
