FRESENIUS

Hello, I am considering a position as a dialysis nurse with a Fresenius clinic near my home. Has anyone here worked for them? How has your experience been? Is it a company you would recommend to other nurses? Any comments are much appreciated. Thank you.

I work for them as an inpatient acute nurse. As far as companies go they're not bad to work for.

Inpatient and chronic dialysis are very different.

I worked for both big companies and like the other one better.

I guess it is more of a personal preference.

I currently work for them in chronic. Dialysis is long hours, long time on your feet, cranky patients and rumor mills. I doubt the other big one is much different. Fresenius usually has good education, no back up for if you have to call off (at least in our clinic) and is overall not too bad. I hate to say but the grass is always greener. If it is close to your home then that is a great benefit.
