Freaking Out!

My NCLEX is tomorrow and I am a basket case. I know I need to relax, but I cant! I initially did really well on the ATI we were given in school, was giv en a 96% chance of passing NCLEX on the first try. I took the 2 ATI "practice" assesments this week and now I am down to an "84-88%" chance of passing on the first try. I have been scoring in the 60's & 70's % on the practice questions fromt he study books. I feel like I am doomed. I couldnt sleep at all last night. I know tonight will be more of the same. I just wish I could calm down!!

Here is what I need to hear- How were you doing on practice question before you passed nclex?

Did you ok on the initial ATI and worse on the next 2?

WHat % is "passing" for practice quuestions? I am reading the rationales and hoping for the best...

One of my instructors told us to prepare by doing at least 3,000 questions. Which is what I did between ATI and Kaplan. Make sure you stay positive because a lot of taking this test is how you feel mentally. If you are too nervous that can have a negative impact on your performance. Good luck!!! :)

i am freaking out too. test is tomorrow. I just don't know if I can study much more. Maybe I will take my ATI comp tonight to see how I am faring. In school I was fine on the ATIs and it predicted a 99% chance of passing. Lets hope it was right.

Dont do the ATI the night before! LOL. That is the reason I am so freaked out, I took it last night thinking it would boost my confidence, since I did well ont hem in school too, and I did crappy! I had to go back to Saunders for some questions to make myself feel better.

I am a mess. What time is your test? Mine is 8am!!!! Good luck!

I took NCLEX-RN this morning and got 87 questions. Had 7 SATA, 2 exhibits, 2 dosage calcs, lots of priorty and a few isolation. I got the "good pop up" when I got home when trying to re-register on pearsonvue so I feel more at ease now. My preparation for the exam was I completed the first 4 of the 7 Kaplan trainer exams and 40% of their qbank questions. Hopefully it worked!!! Best of luck to everyone!!!

Good luck to you! I just did mine this am, 75 questions in 37 minutes. I am not the type to stare at a question, if I dont know I narrow it down and guess and move on. I had 3 SATA and 1 dosage calc. My calculation was a hard one, I am good at math and it took me several tries to figure it out. I left feeling like I failed, cried the whole way home. I felt like I needed more questions to "prove myself" but I just did the PVT and I got the good pop up so I am really crossing my fingers!!!!!!!!!

I did 75 questions in about 35minutes. I had no math. Lots of SATA. Did the PVT like 4x and got the good pop-up.
