FP cards..

hello!

Actually this problem is not mine but for my friends who are planning to register under BON NM. Some submitted thier FP cards to NM but was then returned with a note that FBI is not accepting the one that is printed from computers instead they are requiring the original FP cards i mean the hard copy but good for them because they were provided by NM. my concerned now is that I personally doesnt know where and whom to request the PF cards? is there any particular person whom we can call or send an email?

thanks!

HI! if you're applying for california, you can get your FP cards for free.. They can give u as much as 100 free FP cards, delivered right to your doorstep.

thanks fo your reply but i have may eligibility already under BON NM.. Most of my friends preferred to apply in BON NM, but they dont know where and to whom to get the original PF cards....

cijhane, the FP cards for the NM BON should be acquired from the US Embassy in Manila. Bring your application form in case they want to see it. You should get two FP cards from them. Hope this helps.

i think you should check new mexico board of nursing website again? because you need to request that from their website, and yes, they need the hard copy of the card. photocopies are not accepted. maybe most of your friend prefers applying licensure there because getting an eligibility is faster? i had friends who applied in new mexico but does't want to work in new mexico...ops, i am off topic. tell your friend to request the fingerprint cards from the nm bon website.

100? The site where you type the quantity says "10 or less" so I always type 10 when I'm requesting. If I had known that one can request more than ten, I would have requested for more so there will be extras. By the time ten fp cards arrive in my house, they aren't healthy-looking anymore. I don't know if the post office can't read Do Not Bend / Do Not Fold or they are simply careless.

thanks... but im not currently in PI. i will try to check at BON NM website. thanks...

When we applied for licensure at NM BON last Dec 2006, we sent 2 sets of the downloaded forms printed on hard cards and both were accepted by the NM BON. However, starting Jan 2007, according to the NMBON website, applicants have to request via email the fingerprint cards. Pls. check their websites for the email address.
