Forsyth Tech ADN Fall 2015

I'm anxious myself. The waiting is killing me. I have also been checking my mailbox everyday lol. I checked my Techlink last friday to see if my program of study changed. And it did. I'm taking that as a good sign because before it said gen. occ. tech-practical nursing and now it just says Practical Nursing curriculum.

That's awesome, humanist29! Where do I look in Techlink to see if my program of study has been changed?

iwantit2 checked techlink. I also looked by going to the academic profile tab then glancing at the program of study. My profile has both Gen Adult Continuing Ed and Practical Nursing listed, so I'm not sure what that means -- if it means anything at all. I'm going to practice some patience and hope that we'll get some news soon! Best of luck to y'all!

If letters aren't coming until April 15th, but registration is April 13th and 14th, how do we register? On the other thread, someone said they just stick you in a class? I hope not, I have a job and need to be able to choose which classes I take. Anyone have information regarding this?

Fantastic question CrystalinNC. I have been told, "You will receive a letter by April 15th" and have no other information. I also have a job and need to know when I can take off work for orientation, if accepted. :/

The only difference will be some will have labs on Tuesday or Wednesday off Thurs lecture Mon and Friday at least that's how mine was done everyone has same lecture days I had 630 to 1230 clinical on Tues lab wed with a hr lunch don't be late u can only miss two clinicals or ur out very strict program good luck second semester is harder than first with different clinical choices the program is going to change for fall books scrubs get a pen light scissors and stethoscope lab kits we could order through bookstore

You can look at the different class schedules online if you want to know how they are.

Congrats Terristrong and Humanist29! I guess ADN letters will come out very soon. Did your profile on techlink change before you received your acceptance letter?

I just checked techlink and my program of study changed to adn. I guess I'm in! I guess the wait wasn't in vain! I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time!
