It's been 3 weeks since I interviewed for a position at a big hospital and I haven't heard anything. I interviewed with HR, the hiring manager, and assistant nurse manager for the unit. The evening after the interview I sent the thank you notes via email. The hiring manager replied and told me to feel free to contact her with any questions. After 1 week had passed since the interview, I sent follow up emails saying I was still very interested and enthusiastic about the position. I didn't get a reply from anyone. Today is 3 weeks since the interview and yesterday the hospital posted several positions, including the one I interviewed for (but a different posting ID # and the one I applied to still remains on the site as well).
I felt the interview went really well, especially with the nurse managers. The HR person interviewed me first and grilled me with a million tough questions, but sort of coached me what to bring up based on my answers when I spoke with the nurse managers.
Should I follow up again or let it go? Their website says it could take up to several weeks for correspondence. If you think I should, then should I call or email HR or the nurse managers or both?
Should I apply for the new positions they posted?
