Florida-RN here

Hello,

Anyone who knows an agent or agency in Florida who is hiring a Filipino nurse, an NCLEX Passer from Philippines...

Thank you.

You may find it hard getting a hospital to petition you due to retrgression and no idea how long it will take to get you out there and agency there is no guarantee you will end up in Florida as a lot depends on what is available contract wise once you have had your interview and ready to leave

Not many agencies have places in Florida, despite what they say. Most agencies like to work on the basis of "we'll place you where we need you."

With retrogression in full swing SD is correct that you will find it hard to get a hospital to sponsor you.

And since you are not issued a license without a SSN#, you are not actually a Florida RN since your name does not appear on their website.

Just wanted you to be aware of this. You have passed the NCLEX exam, but it does not make you a Florida RN until the license number is actually issued, and the same things holds true for any other state that does not issue without a SSN#.

Best of luck to you, but as mentioned above, you are going to find very few agencies that will petition for you and specifically for that one state, we just do not see it happen much at all.
