You should get a letter from Florida BON informing you of your eligibility, they will also notify Pearson who will then send your ATT to you. Have you registered with Pearson? :)

no ma'am. i haven't registered with pearson yet. so i should be waiting for my eligibility first from florida. and that would be when approximately when? if CES just forwarded my papers to them yesterday. thank you so much for answering my querries.

Did your CES from CGFNS state 'meets all program requirements'? If so, you can go ahead and register with Pearson and they will issue your ATT as soon as Florida BON notify them of your eligibility. I can't advise how long it will take Fl BON to do this, it is a long time since I got mine, they were taking 4 - 6 weeks, but not sure if this is still the same timeframe. You will need to pay $200 to Pearson to register and this will be valid for one year. Here is the link which will explain things for you :

Hope this helps :)

yes ma'am. CES of CGFNS status report states that " meets all program requirements". does that automatically mean, Fl BON will issue me elligibility? is it possible for me to register with Pearson already even if i haven't received any letter yet from FL? ma'am, sorry if i am redundant already, this whole process is really confusing and i have no one to ask around except you and allnurses. thank you for the website. i'll check it out. again, thank you for helping me out. i'll forever be grateful to you and to allnurses.

Yes, it is possible to register with Pearson before you receive any letter from Fl BON.......

I can't say with absolute certainty that Fl BON will make you eligible, I wouldn't want to give false information, BUT.....as soon as my CES report said "meets all program requirements", I went ahead and registered with Pearson. Then as soon as I got my letter from Fl BON I scheduled a date for NCLEX. I think because CGFNS has said you meet the requirements, sounds like you should be OK with Fl BON. Pearson are quite quick to issue ATT when they have received notification from the BON so if you have any doubts, you could wait until you get your letter of eligibility from Fl BON and register with Pearson then. You need to bear in mind that after Fl BON issue your eligibility letter, it could take a little while for them to then notify Pearson (I think in my case was about 2 weeks). It's really your call if you want to pay $200 before you are officially made eligible......I did, and fortunately it paid off.

Hope this all makes sense :uhoh3:

Good luck and keep us informed :)

I'm applying in Florida BON too,and CGFNS also said "meets all program requirements". BUT i heard if you didn't take gerontology in your school you'd be asked to take it for FL BON.I asked this question on this forum, but noone answer. So,i'm not sure.

Did someone get ATT from FL BON and didn't have gerontology?

Thanks a lot.
