First ever surgery at 71

Hello all.  Not a medical provider.  Soon to have my first operation at 71.  Male.  Total hip replacement.  I have looked at videos and read summations of the procedure but the don't have a lot of info.  I hope I am not asking too much but could a nurse give me the details?  It is a same day, outpatient procedure.

thank you, Mike
