first day

Finally today has come and so has school. Actually it was kind of a let down, but I guess thats good. We didnt do anything educational, just went over all of our emergency contacts and did a 3 minute socialization game. We didnt even stay like the normal hours. Apparently, school didnt start at the normal time, which no one wasinformed of and everyone showed up extra early anyways. So then we were also told to bring all of our books, and guess what? didnt need em. But like i said, i was let down because i read many posts that said they had all these pretests and assignments...But ill end on a positive note. I did get assigned a locker, so i didnt have to lug 45 lbs of books back home and back again tomorrow(even though it does have wheels). And even though i expected a bunch of scary instructors saying that our lifes were over and if you werent on your tiptoes you'd fail and amount to nothin in life...they were very supportive, but do want us to succeed and told us, like adults, that commitment is needed to pass. And Im glad that we didnt get any work, it allows me to spend the rest of the day with my 15 month old son who had his 2nd day of daycare today...i miss him during the day, but it makes me appreciaate him so much more when we get home!
