how to find a TEAS tutor

Hi i'm trying to start my application for nursing school and one of them is to take the TEAS 5. I have taken practice tests and i don't do well. I have bought study guides but i think i would like help from someone who has taken the test and can help me. Any ideas on how to go about finding a tutor? I tried Craigslist

I live in NYC

When I took the test there was a book that was recommended that we could purchase at the school bookstore or online. It had sections in it for you to review like math, English, chemistry, and so on. There were also practice tests. When I took the test it wasn't too hard, it's only supposed to test on basic academics. My nursing school then used your score along with grades from certain academic classes to come up with a score. The score was used to compare you with all the other applicants on whether you get into the nursing school or not. They told us it was to judge whether or not we could handle the nursing school curriculum, which is a load of bologna because nursing school tests are in no way comparable to academic tests. Go and talk to the nursing school or health sciences adviser at your school. The school I attended students could get help from a tutor for academic classes and there were flyers up around the school. There may even be a study group or you can create one.
