Finally - HFCC

Finally, I have arrived, starting the spring/summer program at HFCC. Taking nsg 120 and 126, anyone have any words of encouragement. I'm so scared. I'm older and hoping I can keep up. Any advice, study habits, exam tidbits, etc. I have so much riding on this.

Hi all, can anyone elaborate on the pharmacology test in the 1st semester of classes, how hard, can you take it home, etc. Also, what type of questions are on the dosage calculations test; are there any iv therapy questions on it, etc. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!:)

It is in class, they give you the website to study off of. it is only on pharmacology stuff. the math test is totally a different thing. I want to say they are both 20 questions. no IV stuff until 155.

:anpom:Congrats on getting in!

Thanks, but is the pharmacology, like the actual pharm class that we took, so should I brush up on that stuff?

The stuff you need to know for the test is on the website you will be given. It is only off that information. I dont remember exactly what was on it. but if you think you need to brush up on stuff from the class it can only help in the long run.
