I spoke to a lady from the BON and she told me they can't post my results from my NCLEX-RN because my file is incomplete. What does that mean?

It means something is missing whether your transcript, background check, a part of your application such as a signed passport sized photo or a notarized signature.
What state? Did you apply online? Many states have checklists of the mandated components of the application.
JustBeachyNurse, I have applied in California via paperwork. I graduated from a community college in California. This is my third time taking the NCLEX-RN. I took my exam last Thursday 8/27 8:00am.
I have been doing the PVT since last week and I get the message "Our records indicate that you have recently schedule this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time"
Something is missing. Did you confirm your transcripts were received? They will let you test then once you pass check to see if your file is complete with transcripts and background. Most common "incomplete" file status with CABRN is due to incomplete or missing transcripts. It's confusing since they cleared you to test, but it's happening more frequently lately. ATT issued, NCLEX passed THEN they check your file.
If you can get through again see if they can tell you why it's complete, if it's your third attempt it's even possible your transcript was misfiled. If a rep can tell you for sure it's a transcript issue , personally I'd pay the school to send a certified transcript via registered or certified mail to have delivery receipt.

Relax, don't believe to operators, most of them incompetent, cuz I had 2 different situations I had to call them 20 times and 19 of them said different info just one who were very helpful. ......lazy d. Ass
If file incomplete they won't send you approve NCLEX letter, is that make sense? Bon will not let you take an exam, I know just rules in CA.
I found out from my classmates that their transcripts and some paperwork were missing that is why their license was delayed. I may have to contact the BRN again.
There you go. I know CA will let graduates of CA program take the NCLEX once the school notifies that you graduated but won't release the license until they have all the paperwork from your school. Graduates from other states or overseas will not get an ATT until all paperwork is in hand.
See if you can reach an assessor/evaluator that can access your exact file deficiencies rather than just you are missing items.
I can only imagine your anxiety at this point so close to your goal. Hang in there it will be worth it!
They will for graduates of CA programs once the program sends the initial notification of successful completion. They will issue an ATT pending transcript receipt. Sometimes it works but other times it does not like in this case. Graduates from other states, overseas or those endorsing will not get an ATT until the file is complete and fully assessed. I guess the logic is CABRN knows the program meets the standards as CA programs are board approved.
BVNPT has different regulations.
JustBeachyNurse i love reading all your replies! Thank you so so much for helping me ease my anxiety. I have been waiting a year to get my RN license and this is my dream. The PVT helps, but the official notice will make me feel so much better

One of my classmates was missing her exam ID form and the BRN actually sent her a notice in the mail to tell her to submit it. I would try calling again, I know how difficult that is, and see exactly what it is they need from you.
Maybe your school was like mine and sent off transcripts late. We graduated May and they didn't send off transcripts until almost July. Either way hang in there it will work out.
I went to the BRN and they said everything is fine! Nothing missing! some lady lied to me LOL! So they handed me my results printed from the BREEZE system! I AM OFFICIALLY AN RN!!!!
