File Folders for Preceptor Request

I am starting my search for preceptors. I plan on visiting multiple clinics on my off days to drop my file folders and hopefully have some time to talk with potential preceptors. I do not start my practicum until August 2016, but am planning ahead because time flies and I know precepetors are hard to come by.

I have a question about how to organize my file folders. I am buying two-pocket file folders with a business card holder in them. I ordered 500 business cards from VistaPrint. I will receive them next week.

Which pockets should I place documents in for best effect? I have the following documents to place inside the file folder:

1) Cover Letter

2) Resume

3) Course Description

4) Course Calendar for Practicum

5) Preceptor Responsibilities

6) Minimum Documentation & Experience Requirements

Ideas are greatly appreciated!

When I was out getting my sites set up, I did a similar concept. I think your "layout" is fine. Because there is no local school, I included my schools info in regards to it being accredited and it's mission statement and a brief history. I did not include a resume but don't see anything wrong with putting one in...I just did a brief synopsis in my cover letter as well as why I returned to school and why I was looking to "intern" with the particular provider or office. Good luck!
