FGCU CRNA 2015

Hi there, I have applied for January 2015. Waiting for an invitation for an interview (hopefully). Have you heard anything about the program's structure, particularly how many days a week classes will be held?

I am not sure about the structure of the program! I hope to hear about interviews soon!

congrats on the interview! If u already had it, how did it go? I'm a prospective student for FGCU as well. Can't really find anything on this school and their interviews. I have no idea what to expect

My daughter has applied for the Jan. 2015 nursing program. We haven't heard anything yet. Can you tell me how you found out, email or letter in the mail and when you found out. Thank You!

The CRNA program or BSN nursing program?

First two semesters are front loaded(1st semester is 18 credits) semesters 1-2 class 4 days and 1day clinical at a hospital. Rest of your time is 4 days of clinical at a hospital with one day of classes. They will call you for crna interview invite. Interview is laid back with 4 people asking you questions about 30 min per person . They are accepting 18 people fyi. Acceptance decisions will be made by end of month

They called me for interview. I have one for the 17th. Supper nervous b/c I do really bad in interviews always have. I kno the answers and am unable to answer and have like a panic attack. Do they ask any clinical questions?? Like ABGs, meds, ect? What exactly do they ask? When I looked around it looks like they interview around 30 students, do u know if this is correct? How did urs go?

Congrats to everyone who received an interview. I had mine last week! They are very nice and laid back and first give you information about the program. Then they speak with you individually. No clinical questions were asked! Just relax be yourself and tell them about your nursing experience. Good luck!

Awww that's great. Defiantly some relief for me. Thanku for that information:))) did they say anything in refferance to how many they will be interviewing total? I know they take 18 students total. How many in the panel that interview?

side note have u heard from any other schools? I applied to Barry as well but when I called they said that some applicants might not hear anything till aug-sept. O_o

Sorry phone is acting up. I know surfnurse said 4 interviewers. Was just wondering if it was any different for other dates. When they called me they have me 4-5 days to choose from
