FCCJ Fall 2008

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Hi there all you 2008 FCCJer's. I just got my letter on Friday! :yeah:Yippee!! I am in the wow, there is so much to do in such a short time boat, as many of you probably are. I am looking forward to it but am incredibly nervous. Or maybe it's anxiety. LOL. Anyways, I'll be at Orientation on the 7th (AAHHH!!!)of August and I can't wait to meet you all. Hope to see future posts soon.

Yes it says the 7th...Mandatory student orientation on August 7th. Just had to double check. All nerves here!

Hey, anyone here get their acceptance letter yet? I got mine 4 days ago! It took forever!!!!!!!!! I would like to locate anyone living in the beach or southside areas. I live in Ponte Vedra and am looking for some people close by to see about starting a study group. Good luck everyone!

I live near Bishop Kenny near San Marco. But I'll always drive to wherever if a study group is meeting.

Congratulations! It is all so crazy now! I am getting ready to head to Northside too to get all that done. Do you know anyone else that got in? I am trying to meet some people before so I don't feel so alone in this. Let me know if you want to meet up before orientation.

Hey, I'm 40!!!!!!! I could die before orientation starts just from the stress(haha)! I would love to meet some of you guys before then. It might reduce some anxiety. Anyone interested?

Northside is walk-in. I went soon after it opened and there was virtually no wait. They were pretty quick and the woman at the front desk was so nice and patient with my never-ending questions. I have my fingerprinting this Thursday. A friend told me I could take my kids in a stroller because it's really quick. Is that true?

I waited about 20 minutes but I got there early and the process was maybe 5 minutes. Taking your kids is no problem! It is all done in one room.
