FCCA

I can apply for the FCCA once ALL my nursing exams are finished right? (Should be beginning of March) Also, once you apply for this test, how long does it take for you to get it and how long to you have to take it?

Thanks! Getting anxious to get this show on the road!!!

I just got word that I passed mine! praise the Lord!

yes once your exams are finished they automatically set you up for fcca/cpne eligibility. I called because it seemed to be taking a while to become eligible (and I busted my butt to get the exams done asap) and they pushed me through later that day. unfotunately the fcca is only sent out at certain intervals. they apparently do it in batches, not individually. I had to wait about 3 weeks to get mine. I did it and sent it back the same day. they received it friday morning and I got my pass message this morning. you do get 10 days to do it. I would highly recommend the following book that I got from the library: Nursing care plans : nursing diagnosis and intervention. I had the 5th ed from 2003, there may be a newer one, but it was invaluable. the mosby's nursing diagnosis book is needed also. good luck!
