FAU FNP 2016

Published

Has anyone applied for the fall 2016 FNP program? Recently, I received an invitation for an interview. Where are you in your application process? Your input and advice would be gladly appreciated  .

I was also offered an interview. I applied to the AGNP program though. Mine is on Tuesday so I have been browsing this website to see how the interview is conducted. If there was a writing sample required. Did you find out anything about it yet? Hopefully it's not too bad :/

I saw a post from last year that states they pull questions from your personal statement. I do not think the writing sample in required, but you should be prepared if asked.

Be positive, we got this :).

did anyone hear back? when do they start letting us know?

Hi, I applied to FAU's BSN-DNP which starts in May 2016. I have an interview scheduled later this month. Has anyone else applied to this program? If so, did you receive an invite for an interview? Has anyone received an official acceptance letter for the upcoming start date?

have not heard anything sense interview... anyone heard back, it would be great to know. I applied for fnp.

Hello everybody! I posted this in another thread. I am reposting it here:

I am also a hopeful candidate this year. I applied for the BSN-DNP Program. I interviewed March 15 but did not receive any email or link to start the background check or immunizations. I am thinking that those who did are on their way for acceptance. Anybody else in the same boat with me? I was also told that they are still interviewing until the end of March or at least this past Monday and Tuesday since the link for interviews ends at March 22. To those who are doing background checks, how soon did you receive those emails? I honestly did not feel well about the interview. I felt unprepared and sent my application on the last minute deadline (Feb. 28) but still got an interview. They also put me for Harbor Branch since I live in Jupiter. I thought getting an interview is a good sign but now I am doubtful. I was asked generic questions like why do you want to be an NP, why FAU, where do you see yourself in 5-10 years, what are you most proud of as a professional, what do you do keep your practice updated or current, etc. Any input will be appreciated, guys. Thank you very much.

Hi everyone, I also applied to FAU for fall 2016.Had my interview in Feb. Still waiting.

I received an e-mail stating I was accepted into the program about a week ago. Very excited and intimidated.

My application status on line still says, "referred to department." Has anyone's status on line changed?

Congratulation
