Fall 2010 Starts

Just thought I'd get a thread going for all of us that have received or are waiting on letters of acceptance for fall, 2010.

I sent in my application in November of 2009 for my program and was accepted in January. My LPN course in 20 months long, set out over 2 years. I get summer off and a few holidays through the year. I'm super excited about getting, considering I was wait listed at the beginning, and luckily enough I have a few friends that will be joining me. I hope to eventually bridge to RN somewhere down the road, but for now... I'm more then happy with being an LPN.

But enough of my ramblings! How is everyone else doing?

Congrats! I'm also starting this Fall.

My program is 18 months long. I also plan on eventually bridging to RN since my school has an RN program, but I want to work full-time as an LPN for a couple years before I do that.

I can't wait to start! :yeah::nurse:

Are you going to be working at all during the program?

Luckily no... Between my husband's job and my student loans, I'll have more then enough to cover all my expenses. I plan on working for a few years after school too. I want to settle down and have a few kids before I start up my RN. There are quite a few LPN jobs where I live and the cost of living with the pay rate of lpns is fairly decent, so I think (hope) it's all going to work out in my favor.

EEE!! I'm so excited! I don't know how I'm going to wait until the fall!

does anyone know what questions are asked in interview?:nurse:

Good Evening Everyone,

I'm so excited I have an interview scheduled in march. In sept I'll be starting Eastern Suffolk Boces. I wish school started today!!!!!!! lol

Is anyone else going to the same school as me???

I submitted my application on June 1st and I am wondering when I will get the acceptance letter. I am freaking out because I want this sooo bad! I hope I get in...the vocational nursing program runs from August-August! Wish me luck!
