Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent Program

Alright, I know it's early but...who is planning on applying to the Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent program? I just finished my prerequisites today and I'm so excited to get going. I am planning on taking the TEAS for the first time in January so hopefully I'll do well.

One question I have is what should I do during the spring semester? I completed my AA degree as of today but unfortunately, my family kind of relies on my FA money to get by. I'm wondering if there is an AS degree I can enroll in so that I'm still eligible for FA until the nursing program starts. I saw something for Health Information Technology that might work. Anyway, just thought I'd see who else is applying and if anyone else is in the same financial situation as me.

I hope to get to know some of you soon!

I'm applying for the concurrent and I'm so anxious! 8 days to go!

Anybody apply for the regular program?

I am planning to apply to UFC since I have most if my basics clases completed.

I would probably needn1-3 classes. How about the TEAS. When do I do that?

adoRNo2b2015, Wait until you've taken all your pre-reqs before you take the TEAS.. it covers everything.. The Science section was the most difficult IMO..

All my prerequisites are completed.

All my prerequisites are completed.

I'm about to start my nursing classes in May but strongly considering a transfer. My current school is having a lot of issues and I just don't know if that's the best place for me.

adorno2b2015, I'm sorry, i misread, I thought you had a few pre-reqs left..Take the TEAS asap!

Which school is it? The biggest question is when will you be accepted to another school's program and the window you'd need to apply for it.

Hi everybody! Just wanted to introduce myself ..my name is Brittany and I will be apply with your guys... I'm a little nervous tho bc I can only apply to the reg program.. I made a 76 on the teas after my third try ? but I have a 3.4 recalculated GPA and I finished my pre reqs spring 2013... So hopefully I will be able to get in its semester

Welcome Brittany

I'm applying for the concurrent but just barely-got a 78% on the TEAS- the Science section killed me! I turned in my application today..

.. Yea the science killed me too.. It was just random! .. I just hope my GPA is good enough to get in

Hi Brittany! From what I've heard, GPA is considered slightly more than TEAS scores. This is all so nerve-racking!! Best of luck to you all, I'll be submitting my application tomorrow!
