So I ordered seeds for fall planting: broccoli, cauliflower, beets, black radish, late season pole beans and cabbage .

Good for you!  This is the best time.  Nontraditional gardeners and new gardeners don't think to stock up early, but it is essential for Fall and Winter planting.

I like to rotate Summer and Winter crops, This year everything is growing in bags so I will dump them all out into an enclosed heap when done and add some worms to keep it turned.

How is the fall planting going?  I finally got my pickled cucumbers growing... this after trying to start seedlings three times.  I will move on to my other crops soon.  I want to grow lots of greens, onions, and potatoes this Fall/Winter.

Sadley temps have been in the triple digits so most of my effors center on keeping the fruit trees from dropping their fruit and keeping the dogs cool!
