Hey guys!
I am planning to take my teas December and I'm hoping to apply to Metro and IHCC for Fall 2018. I was wondering if there is anyone who has been accepted to any of these schools and if you can share your GPAs/TEAS or composite scores here if you don't mind? I'm trying to calculate my chances and get a better idea of what type of scores Metro and IHCC usually take.
Also, if anyone is applying to MANE schools for this Fall comment what school and your score you 're applying with (or hope to apply with if you haven't taken teas yet) if you are comfortable enough. I wanna see how many Fall 2018 MANE applicants are on this site .
225 views but no one replied lololol think I posted this thread a bit too early. Idk if anyone is lowkey lurking (I know I always am LOL) but to update you guys, I did end up taking my teas earlier than December because I wanted to give myself time, just in case I didn't do well on my first try. This way I could've retook the teas if I wanted but I'm happy with my score. I will be applying to metro (my goal!) and IHCC like I mentioned in my previous post. Scores I will be applying with are:
IHCC composite; 12.75 (90% on teas, 3.75 pre req gpa)
Metro composite; 12.5 (90% on teas, 3.5 pre req gpa)
Good luck to anyone reading!

Haha I have been lurking on here for a while too so I totally get it. You have great composite scores, I think you'll have no problem getting in! I just took my teas and I got an 84.7. I'm applying to Century for this fall with a composite score of 12.4 (assuming I keep an A in Biology this semester lol). Thanks for starting this thread!

Hi guys :-)
I am applying to Metro, Inver and Century. My scores are on the lower end...
Century: 11.26
Inver: 11.00
Metro: 11.23
I'm waiting on one appeal and will be taking the TEAS later this month(scored a 78 last May) to hopefully improve my scores.
-Any TEAS tips? You both had great scores!
Good luck to all of you!

Hello all!
I've been lurking on these MANE threads for around a year now, when I decided I wanted to go into nursing. From those threads and what I've heard from current MANE students, a score around a 12 should give you a really good shot at getting in.
I applied to Inver Hills last application cycle and unfortunately didn't get in, as my TEAS score left a little something to be desired, so I am applying again! I actually just re-took the TEAS this morning and came out with an 89% which will put my composite score at a 12.08. My GPA for those first four classes also isn't the best, I tried and failed to appeal a B I got in my composition class (teacher and I didn't really see eye to eye on some things) so it could be better, but I'm pretty comfortable with my score all around.
Since I didn't get in right away, I now have 3 semesters of pre-reqs under my belt (GenBio, A&P 1 and 2, micro, chem, psych 1 and 2, comp 1, 2 speech classes, and ethics, amongst others, are all done) and as such Inver Hills has turned into a back-up choice for me. Just the way their course plan is laid out would make it so that I would virtually be a part-time student because I'm already done with most of the non-nursing courses, and I don't feel its the best use of my time. I'm instead applying to Concordia-Saint Paul's new nursing program, as I can start this summer and its accelerated, meaning I would graduate a full year earlier (it also doesn't hurt that its all of three blocks from my house) with my BSN. In short, both CSP and MANE are 6 semesters once you're in, but since CSP is year round I save a full calendar year by going there. I'll apply there the first few week of February, and they let us know a couple weeks after that, so if I get in I'd be giving up my potential spot at Inver.
The application due date has kind of snuck up on me so I'll be dropping off my application to Inver in person on Monday! Good luck to everyone!

I applied to NHCC with an 11.11 (2.91 gpa and 82% TEAS). I don't think I will get in but I'm retaking chemistry right now so If I get an A my gpa will go to 3.42 bringing me to an overall score of 11.62 for the spring 2019 application cycle -.-
Just wanted to give a quick update! I've officially accepted a seat in Concordia's BSN program, so should I get into Inver Hills I'll be declining my spot.
AHHHH I have not been on here for a good minute LOL Letters should be coming in in a couple of weeks so good luck to everyone!!! The wait is killing me omg. And @Thin-ic3 CONGRATS!!!!!!!! I wish you the best in nursing school!!

I live in Brooklyn Park and applied to Century and NHCC. I did not receive letters from either school so I am hoping they arrive Monday.
Received my letters yesterday, and I'm accepted to inverhills and metro. Will be giving up my inver hills seat!
I also received my letter from Inver and I got in! But as I said earlier, I already accepted a seat at Concordia and as such I'm giving up my seat at Inver! Congrats and good luck to everyone!
