Hi All! ?
I just wanted to start a thread for those trying to apply to College of the Desert for Fall 2020. At this point, all that's left for me is to take the TEAS, double check that my science classes will be accepted and that they'll accept my communications class. I'm nervous and excited all at once! Any tips or advice people have heard about the program? Any other random information or tid bits that people know about the program is welcome too! ?

Hi there, I’m also applying to the RN program this cycle! Have you done your TEAS yet? If so, how’d you do?? Do you know how many points you’re applying with?
Hi there! You caught me in the middle of studying for my TEAS tonight LOL! If I calculated correctly (without the TEAS) I will be applying with about 70-75 points. I spoke with the counselor Ana and she told me to apply even without the TEAS. What about you?
@Sheroe oops haha! I’ll be applying with 78 points. Aim high on your TEAS so you can get more points! Good luck on your TEAS ?
No worries. I take mini breaks while I'm studying. What have you heard about the RN program at COD?
I know it’s VERY competitive/impacted. They used to only accept 20 students but now they accept around 40 students, so we have a pretty good chance of getting in ?

Worst case, I'll be applying with 72-73 points. Best case will be 77-78.
All depends on those TEAS!!
@iCantDraw you haven’t taken the TEAS yet?
