Fall 08 classes

Just picked up my books today....$740 for TWO classes!!!!!

Wow....sorry Rhody that is just insane.... and here I am complaining about the $300 I spent for my two classes:icon_roll

Just picked up my books today....$740 for TWO classes!!!!!

I know! I spend about $650 on mine. Plus I had to go order another $150 for my Microbiology class. I didn't see you at the testing, did you do well? I think I did o.k on it but I don't really want to that particular test again. I won a prize at the orientation part so that was pretty cool. I can't wait to start classes!

Geez guys......

I messed up big time ....went and purchased books for Anatomy ..... opened them up and everything.......now to find out the providence campus uses the Gray's not Marieb......thats is $240 down the drain.... down down the drain.....I asked the helper over and over and even should him my schedule he said "all the bio1010 uses these 3 books"

and to make matters worse I have all receipts except for that $169 I paid for Marieb. yes I m venting ..

I am having a Terrible ....Horrible....No....Good .....Very Bad Day:madface::sasq::flmngmd:

I was at the test but I don't know what you look like so...I didn't see you either! lol :)

I feel like I did OK, but I absolutely hate standardized tests....yuck. But no worries, we are IN and that's all that matters!

Can't wait to start classes either...I just want to get going and start working toward graduating.....

Even if the bookstore has a list, I think there might be two separate teachers for the class. Those of you who have Dr. Foote, should just follow the list that she gives you. She is very specific and you will only use whatever she tells you that is needed.

(former student of Dr. Foote's for those first classes and maternity clinicals) :)

I would be happy to do that but the problem is that she didn't say which books she wants specifically so I just got the 6 on the list (I think she only needs 4 of them but I will keep the two extra or sell them.)

Well good luck to you all; I am sure you will do well! Dr. Foote can be tough but you will be prepared for "real life nursing". I sometimes think in retrospect that she was like that on purpose to really prepare us for situations we would encounter in real life. At the time, of course, we were all saying, "why is she making it so hard??!!!" (this is particularly specific to clinicals with her)

Anyway, enjoy the semester, and try to absorb everything she makes a point of stressing; it is more likely than not to turn up on an exam!

You were in the 8 AM Foote class right? Based upon this morning I can already see that if provoked Foote will have no problem making our lives miserable. We better make sure that we're on our best behavior in her class.
