When I studied I looked through that purple Kaplan book for the study tips, then solely focused on questions from a book that only had Q&A's in it.

It also has the rationales for the correct answer - which helped me immensely to solidify the topic in my head. Best of luck to you when you retest!

Maybe its because i have 4th edition Saunders not 5th? Does that matter?

Both are pretty much the same 5th has more graphics and a better CD. I used 4th and passed my second time on RN.

Dont get bummed, try to focus on your weakness, get books on strategy and keep a positive mind set.....

I'm sorry you didn't pass. Don't give up!!! I used Kaplan and PDA. On Kaplan I watch the entire program....long and boring but the instructors really teach you how to nail those questions. When I took the readiness test I scored a 76% I knew I was ready:thankya: After taking the test I listen to the lady go over all the questions and that seemed to have worked. Priority, Delegation and Assignment by Linda LaCharity. Its a great book, must have. I think that book helped me a lot pass this exam.
