Failed the Nclex..any tips

Hello. Just found out I failed the VN Nclex. I studied a lot so I am very disappointed in myself. Besides doing a lot more questions any tips? I posted in the CA forum for any information on a Nclex lvn seminar to take since I have heard great things about them.

You can get plenty of advice in the NCLEX forum. Good luck on your retry.

Regroup....and review your core context med/surg, endocrine, renal,GU, GI, touch on peds/ob...KNOW SAFETY, LOOK AT SELECT ALL THAT APPLY QUESTIONS. You need to beable to talk thoses core context areas out loud....med/surg is the back bone of nclex....know your diseases..And rememer you can't know everything. I don't know if you thought about HURST BUT MY COLLEGE DID THE LIVE HURST REVIEW...and we used saunders....both are good. Saunders is good to tighten up in your weak areas. Live Review helps to rewire your brain for testing...and connecting the dots. YOU CAN PASS IT....DON'T THINK NEG AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, BECAUSE YOUR BETTER THAN YOU KNOW. DO ATLEAST 50 QUESTIONS DAY....DO THIS FOR THREE WEEKS AND REVIEW THE SAUNDERS BOOK IF YOU HAVE ONE OR WHATEVER STUDY BOOK YOU HAVE THAT GOES OVER THE STYSTEMS. REMEMBER THERE ARE NO GOOD QUESTIONS ON NCLEX SOMETHING HAPPENING IN ALL OF THEM...AND IF LABS ARE ON THE LOW NORMAL...RED FLAG....review your role as a nurse.
