Dont stress yourself out? Did you try Kaplan. The test should be the same...it just tests the level of difficulty your are capable of answering...Did you use anything to study before?

The exams are not related and the next exam will not know that you have written it before.
You should start your preparation from the beginning as if you have never tested before.
You will need to submit an application to the BON again as well as pay the fees to them again. Normally you do not need to submit the other documentation to them again. Just check with their website for their procedure for reapplication. You will also need to pay the fee to Pearson-Vue again for the exam.
I would definitely take at least a week or two before starting to prepare again. You are not the first, and definitely not the last that did not pass the first time.
Best of luck to you on your career, you can get thru this exam.

I too did not pass the first time and I know how it feels. But don't let it determine you as a nurse and don't give up. Take some time to relax and recharge your batteries and then start anew. Prepare like this is the first go round. I have also heard people say you should approach your study and preperation differently as it did not work the first time. Just keep in mind that you can do this and you will succeed.
My state sent me out the results so I could see my evaluation. In that package they placed an application to reapply. It was only one page and that was all that was needed. But check with your state to see what theirs looks like. You may also be able to download it off of the website. You will have to reapply to Pearson Vue and the testing fee will remain the same as the first time.
I don't believe the test will be any harder then it was the last time. They are afterall pulling from a select amount of pool questions. I was told that it would be smart enough to not assign you the same questions however. Not sure how much of that is myth or truth.
Hang in there...you can do this!!! :icon_hug:
The questions are changed all of the time, so there is no way that the same questions will even be avaiable. That is one of the reasons for the 45 day wait between tests.
One needs to prepare as if they have never tested before, as the exam is not going to know if you have tested before. They exams are going to be totally unrelated and this is also why you do not just prepare with what the letter stated were your weaker areas, you need to go thru it all again.
